Technical Writing

About Me:
My name is Nathan Dickel. I was born on 16th March 1996 in Dunedin Hospital to my parents Glenn & Suzanne Dickel.

My schooling history involved Melville Park School from 2001 to its closedown in 2003, Elmgrove School for the rest of my primary education. Most of my High School education was at Taieri College between 2007 and 2010, and Salvation Army Employment Plus Between 2013 and 2014.

My personal interests include I.T., classic/oldies music such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, the B-52’s, and archival TV programming, generally British comedy programmes such as The Benny Hill Show, The Two Ronnies, Morecambe & Wise, Monty Python etc…..

Cell Phone:
My cell phone is a Vodafone 890N Smart 4 Turbo Android purchased in March 2015. Not the best phone in the world, but it does me well.

Originally released in 2014, and has an 1880mAh Li-Ion battery, 4GB of built in HD space (with a 32GB SD card added in by me).
It runs Android 4.4 and has a Qualcomm MSM8926 Chipset running at 1200.0 MHz (4-cores), front and back camera (main camera being 5MPx).

I will eventually replace this probably early next year.

Computer:
My computer setup currently is an Intel® Core™ i5-650 running at 3.20 GHz.

The motherboards just a basic Intel® Desktop Board DQ57TM, I’m currently just using its on-board GPU, its fine for the basics and video rendering.

I currently have 8GB of DDR3 RAM. I’m running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit on a 1TB Western Digital Hard Drive.

My other Hard Drives are a 2TB Seagate, and a 500GB Maxtor External Hard Drive. Overall I have about 3.5TB of storage on my desktop alone. I also have an External hot-swap-able Sata drive bay. It's currently sitting a 320gb drive for temporary video storage.

My Favourite Computer Game:
My favourite Computer game is probably Rayman 1 release by UbiSoft in 1995. A side scrolling adventure type game. Your Goal is to make your way through the various levels and release little creatures known as Electoons locked in cages which are spread throughout various levels.
